Pastor Pete says “As a Christian I was called by the
Holy Spirit through baptism. This call was extended through ordination to full
time pastoral ministry in the Lutheran
Church of Australia. I have served faithfully
for 23 years in a variety of settings in the
in Australia.” “In 1988 I studied at Trinity Seminary in Columbus, Ohio.
Since that time I have felt a strong sense of Call to the US. In recent
years my family and I have vacationed in the US and worshiped in Lutheran
Churches there. It has gotten to the point that I now feel compelled to pursue
a Call to the ELCA.”
In response to the
following question: Identify the three most prominent themes that others would
say are strongly evident in your speaking, teaching, leading and living; his
response was “God’s love for all through Christ. Relationship. Humor.”
In response to the
following question: Describe the ministry setting that would energize you and
make the best use of your gifts, skills and passions; his response was “Any
setting represents an opportunity to share my relationship with Jesus so that
others too may know of his love. I believe all people crave relationships with
the Living Lord. In simply living with the members of any congregation, the
relationships we all have, with each other and with our God, will be enhanced.”
When asked to
describe his vision of his calling in ministry, “The love of our Lord is
expressed to us through the relationship Jesus established with us in his life,
death and resurrection. My privilege is to reflect that in all my
relationships, with grace, so that all people might know Jesus, and be freed to
serve Jesus through their community.

Ann is a wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. As a former Weight Watchers receptionist/ mentor, Ann is also a model of healthy living.
Ann is in the office Monday through Friday, 9am - 3pm.
Mr. Mike Self: Hospitality MinisterMike is a welcoming, friendly, and helpful presence at St. Paul's - a presence of Christ in our midst to be sure. Mike makes sure the building is clean and safe, that coffee and snacks are available, and that everyone gets a warm welcome to St. Paul's. Mike is a crucial part of our Morning Blessings ministry and outreach to our downtown community. Mike is married to Barb, who is also actively involved in our Morning Blessings ministry as "head chef." If you need to find Mike, you can usually just follow the whistle (or check the kitchen!)
Mr. Pat Finnegan: Music Minister & OrganistWe are grateful to have an accomplished musician like Pat at our church. His gifts of music point us to the mystery and wonder of God in worship. He directs the St. Paul's Choir, the bell choir, and leads our worship services on the piano or organ. He is involved in the planning of worship services, and connects with our Jazz Trio on the first Sunday of each month. Pat is a proud father, and also serves as the office administrator of another Lutheran church during the week.
Mrs Barb Self: Chief Cook
Barb is often found in the kitchen. She lovingly prepares meals for members of the congregation, Morning Blessings, and other special occasions. Barb has a generous heart and smile. Be sure to get to know this humble child of God!
